Packet pick-up:

There will be three opportunities for packet pick-up. (You may also pick up bibs for your family/friends as long as they are aware.)

  1. Thursday, June 16th at Second Sole Akrun from 5pm-8pm

  1. Friday, June 17th at High Bridge Glens Park from 5pm-8pm

1817 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221

  1. Saturday, June 18th at High Bridge Glens Park from 7am-8:30am 

*Seeing as we have over 600 registered runners and walkers, we encourage as many participants as possible to pick up their packets on Thursday or Friday evening - so that we can start the 5k promptly at 9:00am on Saturday. However, we understand that for some, that may not be possible. If you plan to pick up your packet on race day, please plan to arrive early.

 

A special request from The Project Outrun Team:

We would love it if all registered runners/walkers would wear their special race day t-shirt to the race and festival! We think that it would be so fun to look out at the course and see a sea of colorful “Fast Family” shirts coming down Front Street, as we celebrate everyone that supports our Project Outrun mission and message - as you are all an important part of our FAST FAMILY! 

 

Parking on race morning: 

There is plenty of public parking in the Front Street/Downtown Cuyahoga Falls area. The start and finish is in front of High Bridge Glens Park, so please arrive early to give yourself enough time to park and walk to the start line, as we will be closing off the course to vehicles at 8:00am!

 

Kids’ Fun Run:

The Kids’ Fun Run will take place immediately following the 5k and will start at 10:15am. We encourage all 5k runners and walkers to return to Front Street to cheer on all of our Kids’ Fun Run participants!

 

Race Day Bibs:

All registered runners/walkers will receive an official race day bib. The race day bib contains tabs that can be redeemed at various vendors for free treats. There will be complimentary water and sports drinks available. However, on race day only, adults (21 years and older) can redeem their beverage tab for one free beer at HiHo Brewing Co., which will open at noon on Saturday, June 18th!

 

Awards:

Awards will be given out following the Kids’ Fun Run! Please stick around to collect your award!

 

Festival:

Everyone is invited to join us at our post-race festival! The festival will be filled with important parts of the Project Outrun story - our past, present and future. There will be food, games, activities, giveaways, as well as opportunities to learn more about and support the local businesses and organizations that helped make this entire day possible! 

 

A few other details:

-The course will be closed to traffic.

-There is one water stop that you will pass around the 1.5 mile marker.

-Friendly dogs are permitted as long as they are on a leash.

 

We absolutely cannot wait to see you on race day! We hope that you enjoy the race, whether you are running, walking, pursuing a PR, or participating in support of someone in the fight.
